Seth Tower Hurd is a former journalist turned public relations strategist. Hurd writes the insightful newsletter (The Five) where he discusses stories that didn't garner much attention- or who's analysis is lacking in important ways.

This is the only newsletter Vance regularly reads and the two have an in-depth discussion about why prices are going up, the political class, and journalists that have defected from their original ideological viewpoint to advocate for entirely different causes.
